As you have come to expect from an Art & Soul party, Clash of the Titans will have incredible bands and DJs rocking each floor of the WAG. Transforming four floors of the WAG into a mythical journey from the depths of Hades to the heights of Mount Olympus, Art & Soul: Clash of the Titans is inspired by the monumental Greek and Roman art featured in the WAG’s Olympus exhibit.

Clash of the Titans promises to be the most exciting Art & Soul party yet, with some of Winnipeg’s best musicians, DJs, and artists set to entertain partygoers all throughout the night. Keep an eye on this page for entertainment updates!

MEMETIC DJs featuring Nathan Zahn & Brent Produniuk

MEMETIC DJs are famous for bringing you cutting-edge electronic music featuring the sounds of techno, world dub, and eclectic mixes. MEMETIC’s hypnotic beats and sophisticated vibe is guaranteed to get you grooving on the dance floor.

DJ Co-op and DJ Hunnicutt

DJ Co-op and DJ Hunnicutt have been rocking dance floors together from coast-to-coast for over 10 years. Widely known as Winnipeg's most versatile DJs, their flair for mixing all styles of music together combined with their engaging stage presence will keep you dancing all night long!

The Lytics featuring DJ Zuki

With live shows that are straight-up life affirming, The Lytics can win over the most hardened of cynics. Their penchant for positivity is reflected in the five-man crew’s sound — an amalgam of old-school soundscapes and boom-box bangers that celebrates and inspires.

Olympus is Manitoba’s first major display of classical antiquities in over half a century. This rare opportunity to see ancient Greek and Roman art on the Prairies closes March 6, 2016. The WAG is one of only two venues in North America to present the prized collection of over 160 works: marble statues and reliefs, bronze statuettes, terracotta vases, and jewellery, some over 2,000 years old! Come face to face with the Olympian gods: Zeus, Venus, Athena, and more. Take the free audio tour, and check out viewports with ancient scenes built of LEGO.

What to Wear

This year’s theme is inspired by the WAG’s current blockbuster exhibit, Olympus: The Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin. We know… one of the first things that comes to mind is to grab a white bedsheet and make yourself a toga, but don't strip your bed just yet! There are so many examples of Greco-Roman mythology in pop culture, so don’t be afraid to get a little creative! Take this quiz to find out which Olympian god you are.

We can’t wait to see how you dress for the deities at Art & Soul: Clash of the Titans. Share your costume ideas on social media by using #WAGtitans.
